Subject: Killer FOB
This is a great recording of a fine show. I caught them in Hampton a couple of nights before, but this was a much better show than either of those. They broke Mississippi Half-Step back out. I was so bummed I missed it.

The Shakedown opening the second set is one of my absolute favorite versions. It isn't that it is their most inspired one ever, but the energy flowing from the crowd to the band and back is like a freaking supernova and this wonderful FOB AUD totally captures it. I think I was lucky enough to get a copy of this recording not too terribly long after the show -- my cassette has 1986 down as the date I recorded it and boy did I listen to that sucker.

If there are any energy fiends out there, you definitely want to get this one. Make sure to partake of the Mama Tried.

The Boys always seemed pretty venue driven to me. If I had to select all the shows I could have by picking just a few venues, Nassau would definitely be very high on the list. And if I think of just how much energy the shows had, Nassau tops the list.
